Our house is approximately 20 kms south of Bergerac (20 minutes from the Airport) in the pretty Bastide town of Eymet. We are situated in a tranquil setting, opposite the River Dropt and a Roman Bridge, yet only a short walk to the centre of the town square with its many restaurants & bars.   

 

 

About Us

We relocated to the Dordogne several years ago after having purchased La Maison Ancienne and began our B & B renovation project.

 

Ground Floor Accommodation:

Large Double en-suite bedroom with separate dressing room; luxury bathroom, with both shower and bath.

 

1st Floor Accommodation: offers a Large Double en-suite bedroom; beautiful large room displaying the A-frame of the building. 

 

Newly completed this year, we are delighted to offer a Family Suite; 2 spacious  bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom ~ furnished & decorated to the same high standard and tasteful decor as our other rooms. Quality bedding & towels are a ‘must’ at our Bed & Breakfast!

Our house boasts a large tree-filled garden with many beautiful flowers (pictured below, right, is our unusual Dracunculus Vulgaris Lily)! We also have grape vines. Our garden is host to many different species of birds too.  We plan to further landscape the garden in the near future, including a specially selected area for our many bonsai trees.

If called upon, we would be more than willing to draw on our experiences & offer advice to anyone wishing to engage in the venture of purchasing a house in this region!
